This is tough.

I need to do a friends cut. My life right now is overwhelming and I am struggling to keep up with even the basics, hence my lack of posts for the past month or more. So, I have decided to cut my friends list and communities (and internet time as a whole) back to the bare bones.

I have never done a friends cut before, because I would hate to think I am hurting anyone's feelings. But please know this is nothing personal, but more about leveling out my time to whats important in my life ~ my family.

Reverse Friends Cut

Maybe we friended a long time ago, but as people and lifestyles change you might be finding you have less and less in common with me.

Or maybe we recently friended and after reading through my journal some, find that we have really nothing in common.

I know cutting friends can be hard (that's why I haven't ever done one), so I just wanted to put this out there: If you would like to cut my LJ from your friends list, please know I will hold no hard feelings and in no way see it as a personal insult. No comment necessary, these things happen and are part of life.

Shopping Trolly Cover

For my lj friends with little babies, these Babe Ease Trolly covers are now half price.

I just bought the blue one for Addy because you know, shopping trollys are just a nasty germ fest.  Lately I have been wearing her in my wrap while shopping but I'm sure as she gets older she'll want to be in the trolly rather then strapped to me.

Digital SLR Camera's?

I know I have a few people on my friends list that have awesome cameras that they use either personally or professionally.

I would really like a proper camera for Christmas. One that captures light and colour with vibrancy and clarity - A digital SLR camera. What would you recommend? Also what lense suggestions would you make for a learner photographer?

This looks like fun

*Post a picture in my comments of what you think describes me when you think about what/who I am.
*Give no written explanation though, just an image.
*Copy and paste into your own journal and see what others think about you in picture

PS - I made it an unlocked entry if anyone wants to post anomalously

(I need an icon for craft projects I think)

I mentioned a while ago that I was making letters for Addy's room. Here's how they turned out...

Summer Time Wreath

I need to get over my fear of posting publicly. I'm not really sure what I'm so afraid of but I think I might start posting my more generic, non personal/life stuff as un-locked posts.

......................................

Yesterday I made my very first door wreath. I wanted something to hang in the summer months - and when I think of summer I think of bugs! :) I love most bugs/insects - I find them fascinating. The only bugs I don't like are the biting ones like mozzies and the dirty annoying household ones like roaches. Anyway, so I wanted my wreath to be a tribute to some of the wonderful insects that come out in the summer months to make this time of year just that little bit more magical.

Here's a list of what I started with and costs:
Plain willow wreath - $3.98
2 stems of very plain flowers - $4.08
1 stem of small yellow flowers - $1.98
Bag of Moss - $4.99
Florist wire - $1.99
Lady birds - $1.99
Birds - $1.99
Bird house - $2.27
Butterflies - $1.99
TOTAL COST: Lots of fun, oh and $25.26 (less if you take into account I have stuff left over for other projects)
Everything else (the dragon flies, the glue and gun) I already owned.
