I know there was talk of posts being locked so lurkers cannot read?? And I kinda thought they ALL were locked... but looked this morning and not all are??

How do you do that to lock them?

This is a long shot, but after seeing these 3 babies at the local shelter(i was trying to find the big dog that showed up at our house a week ago, hoping he wasn't at the shelter and his family had found him)i became heartbroken. If we had a bigger house and yard, we'd take 'em. But we don't and this is a kill shelter.

So what i'm saying/asking, does anyone know of any rescue groups that might take them? I live in louisiana(northeast part)and i do travel to shreveport quite often for doctor visits, so if needed i can transport when i go. I actually have to doctor's appointment next week down there, so yeah.

Anyway, sorry for babbling and such. I'm just kinda heartbroken over them. Especially the senior doxie cause no one will adopt her :( Sad but true, everyone wants puppies. I'd take her and the other 2 but i can't. Our house has 5 cats, 2 weens and a hamster. Add my family and i and it's a mess.

Well, since I believe that I will be the mom to boys.......I have decided that they will just have to wear pink:D

Just wanted to introduce myself. I bought my first GM last week and fell in love. The design is beautiful and I never thought I would be saying that about a diaper. I decided to cloth diaper as I feel it is the most environmentally friendly choice that is appropriate for our family. Of course my family just thinks this is another "hippy" thing I am doing, but really who wants to wrap their butt in paper and plastic? Not me, so I don't expect my baby to either. I love fashion and am so pleased that my baby will look fashionable all the way down to his diaper. I am not huge on the prints yet but love love love the switched. I next hope to add dandelion, beetle, fiesta, and prep school to my collection. We try to not use up too many resources but I *plan* to buy just enough diapers that I "need" and no go overboard on extras, although I would LOVE to. Does anyone have any suggestions on how many are needed for the stash of someone who plans to wash every day. I wonder if it is better to buy just enough for 2 days (18-20) or to buy more and then not have to worry about them taking a beating so often and prolong the life? I made a profile on DS yesterday but feel that I will probably be posting here more because everyone seems really friendly and life is too important to waste it on drama. Anyways I hope to get to know a lot of you all better and can't wait to see all your collections. We have such lucky children I think!

I think we all agree that it's great that the bidding is now hidden on the Hyenacart auctions! But some people are saying that they don't know what auctions they've bid on now because they can't see who the high bidder is or the bid history. Someone on Diaper Swappers suggested putting a number on each auction. Like "Bella Flora #1", "Bella Flora #2", etc. I think that might solve the problem, what do you guys think?

Ok - I really really really want to post some pics (fluffy, squishy pics:D!) but I am sooo clueless about lj. So bear with me - I am going to try and do this.........bah. I give up. here is a pic of my stash and 3 diapers that are going to a friend....





Now if someone can tell me (cause I've just spent an hour or so searching) how to do the 'behind the cut' thing - I will need really clear instructions.....my computer and I only tolerate one another;) and then I can post some pics of my boy rocking pink in 1981 and HH!
